The Casino Grand Monticello & Entertainment World which opened on 8 October 2008 is a huge and spectacular undertaking. It is sited in beautifully treed mountains area located in Mostazal, which is just a short 57 kilometers and 45 minutes drive away via the Panamericana Sur motorway, just south from the heart of Santiago, where casinos are prohibited.

Casino Monticello

This US$165 million resort total build-up area is 66,300 square meters making it one of the largest integrated casino resorts in the world. It is divided in five key areas consisting of casinos, a conference center, entertainment and retail areas and secure underground parking. It is believed to be the largest ever single private investment in South America’s leisure and entertainment industry.

The casino is operated under a joint venture between the partners Novomatic Group, Sun International, IGGR and Rudolf Binder.
