The company also said rolling chip performance, which measures VIP play, improved sequentially week by week to total about $1.94 billion in June.
City of Dreams’ mass market table games’ hold percentage — the amount won by the casino as a percentage of the total amount wagered — was within its targeted range of 16 percent to 18 percent in June. Its rolling chip hold percentage, however, was less than 1 percent, well below the target of 2.85 percent.
At Melco’s Altira Macau resort, the company said its rolling chip hold percentage was also “significantly below normal” at roughly 2 percent.
